Shouldn't the welder have started at the inside/tip of piece of to be welded? Ending up with a vertical stack of beads instead of a pyramid? I just weld exhaust to pass emissions so don't be to hateful in replies ha

Damn man $25 an hr, I’d be asking $40 an hr as a start and we’ll make our way from there with welds like that. Been welding 7 years and some of the welds I’ve seen for the pay these dudes are getting an hr is crazy, to do a first year apprentice’s weld quality

I'm not sure if I'm too late for the giveaway, but I'm in the process of getting a small home business for custom fabrication going, and a 2x72 belt grinder would be hugely beneficial for that!

Exon wouldnt allow us to walk it.. atleast on the SS i did for them We also had to brush all oxide color off and had better had it sitting either on hardened steel (3 jaw chuck) or stainless bed plate. Couldnt let it even touch carbon steel

I have a Revolution gen 4. Another Revolution iny shop would still be a game changer, being able to have grinders dedicated to specific materials!

It was fun to watch the friendly competition between y’all. The grinder would definitely be a welcome addition to my small shop. The increase in production that it would bring to my work, would definitely make my work better and faster.
